Making Sense of Medicine: Introducing Copilot Health

At some point, we’ve all stared at a test result we didn’t understand. Worn a device that tracked everything but revealed little. Sat in a clinic waiting room with a list of questions we forgot the moment we sat down for a consultation. Felt that quiet, unsettling feeling that something is off – but had nowhere to take it.
The truth is that most people don’t need more information. They need help to make sense of what they already have.
That’s what Copilot Health is for.

The Green Engine: How Worley is Coding the Energy Transition
Worley’s AI strategy is a primary engine for achieving its "Sustainable Work" revenue goal—defined as income from projects that help customers lower emissions and improve resource efficiency. As of FY2024, sustainability-related work already accounted for 52% ($6.0 billion) of their revenue, putting them on a clear trajectory toward their 75% target by FY2026.
The AI platform supports this financial pivot through three specific mechanisms:
1. Accelerating Decarbonization Services
The core of Worley’s "Sustainable Work" involves designing and building infrastructure for the energy transition. AI speeds up the delivery of these high-margin services:
Knowledge Synthesis: Worley uses AI-driven knowledge bases to turn fragmented technical data into actionable engineering insights. This helps clients make faster final investment decisions (FIDs) on complex projects like carbon capture, blue hydrogen, and battery materials.
Design Optimization: Generative AI allows engineers to simulate thousands of design scenarios for renewable hydrogen plants and carbon capture systems, selecting the one with the lowest physical footprint and material consumption.
2. Digital Twins & Lifecycle Optimization
Worley leverages digital twins and agentic AI to expand its "Sustainable Work" beyond the design phase into ongoing asset maintenance:
Predictive Maintenance: By using AI to predict equipment failure, Worley reduces emergency repairs and the associated greenhouse gas emissions, turning operational maintenance into a "sustainable service" revenue stream.
Remote Operations: AI agents analyze real-time data to autonomously optimize energy consumption in industrial facilities, directly contributing to the sustainability targets that Worley’s clients are willing to pay a premium to achieve.
3. Scaling "Green" Project Delivery
The Dell AI Factory provides the high-performance infrastructure needed to handle the massive datasets inherent in global energy projects:
Backlog Conversion: As of late 2024, 56% of Worley’s $12.7 billion backlog consisted of sustainability work. AI enables the company to scale its professional services and engineering capacity to convert this backlog into revenue faster than traditional methods would allow.
Addressing Labor Shortages: AI-human collaboration automates routine tasks, allowing Worley to take on a higher volume of sustainability projects despite global shortages in highly skilled engineering talent.
